Outdoor Adventure Holidays with Comfortable Accommodation
Do you enjoy outdoor activities but would prefer to sleep in a real bed at night or perhaps travel with a lighter pack during the day? Our range of "Comfortable Summer Adventures" may be just what you're looking for!
Here we list a range of options for outdoor adventures with comfortable overnight accommodation, from point-to-point hiking, biking and paddling tours to activity possibilities from a fixed location.
While many of the options here are accessible to a very wide range of participants, "comfortable" doesn't necessarily mean "soft" - there's still plenty of chance to be very active during the day! Neither is it "luxury" - accommodation is in small-scale, locally-owned guest houses, hostels or cabins which are full of character, adding an extra dimension to your holiday.

- Our options in Sweden give you the opportunity to explore the beautiful lakeland and forest landscapes of the mainland or the summer paradise of the archipelago island network. These point-to-point tours are self-guided but still "full-service" options with luggage transfer, which takes the strain out of your trip and allows you to travel light during the day, while still leaving you with the freedom of a self-guided holiday.
- In Denmark, our hiking tours offer the chance to discover what a wonderful country Denmark is for walking holidays, with beautiful scenery, rich cultural heritage and cosy accommodation along the route.
- In Lithunia, we offer a wonderful option for a kayaking adventure travelling between local guest houses - the perfect tour if you love being on the water, but prefer guest house accommodation to camping.
"I love camping, but I also love comfy beds and good food! Our range of 'comfortable adventure' options combine outdoor activities not only with a roof over your head at night but also a chance to experience more of the local culture and culinary traditions." Sofia from the Nature Travels team
