What is a bucket list holiday?
Many people have a "bucket list" these days - a list of things you want to do before you "kick the bucket"! Often this will be a special personal challenge you'd like to undertake or a beautiful location you'd like to visit.
It might be a multi-day dogsled tour in the wilderness, a self-guided canoe expedition or a point-to-point mountain hike. Whatever your heart yearns for, we offer a wide range of adventures to add to your bucket list if they're not there already!
But remember - what you put on your own holiday bucket list is a very personal choice, and life is not a competition. It doesn't have to be an extreme expedition - if your dream is to skate on natural ice or go wild swimming in a lake, we can do that too!

A "bucket list" shouldn't be just a "tick list"
Travel should be an immersive, enjoyable, life-affirming experience. Don't make your travel bucket list a "been there, done that" thing to be worked through for its own sake.
Ask yourself, "Why do I want to do this?". If your main reasons are, "To make my friends jealous" or "To take a picture for Instagram and earn the bragging rights", then perhaps you should reconsider!
On the other hand, if your reasons include, "To give myself a challenge", "To feel closer to nature", "To see amazing landscapes", "To try an activity I've never done before" or "To meet new people and experience a different culture", then you're on the right track!
If you're lucky enough to be able to do some of the things on your holiday bucket list, enjoy each one to the full and make the most of every experience. Take pictures, but also create memories.
