Climate Care

Nature Travels has teamed up with Climate Care to offer you the chance to offset the greenhouse gas emissions from your flight. For £3.50, Climate Care will make your flight to Sweden "climate neutral" by reducing greenhouse gases on your behalf through projects in forest restoration or sustainable energy.

PLEASE READ THIS PROCEDURE CAREFULLY WHEN MAKING YOUR BOOKING

1. Read Trip Notes & Booking Conditions

If you are interested in one of our experiences, please make sure you download and read the detailed notes for your chosen trip (click the "Full Details" button on each experience page), along with our BOOKING CONDITIONS. Many of the experiences offered by Nature Travels Ltd are active in nature and usually involve some travel to remote destinations. For this reason, it is essential that you understand exactly what the experience entails and are confident that you will be able to take part fully in all activities included in the trip. If you have any doubts or questions, please discuss the matter with us and we will be happy to advise. Similarly, if you have any particular health or dietary requirements that we need to be aware of, please mention these at the time of booking.

2. Check Availability

Then, please contact us to make sure that your chosen dates are available, and feel free to ask us anything else you like. We are keen to ensure that your trip is an enjoyable and memorable experience for you. We love Sweden and we want you to too!

3. Complete Booking Form

Once you're satisfied with your choice, please send us a booking form. You can do this online or alternatively you can download a copy to send by post (follow the relevant link at the bottom of this page). If you experience any problems, just tell us and we will be happy to send you a form by post or email. If you are travelling as part of a larger group, please note that it streamlines the booking procedure if multiple forms can be collected together and sent as a batch.

4. Return Booking Form & Deposit

Please ensure that you complete all sections of the booking form carefully, particularly the experience code (which can be found in the downloadable "Full Details" for each experience), and send us your completed form along with a deposit of 10% (or £100, whichever is the greater sum).

If the price of your experience is less than £100 or if you are booking less than 60 days before departure, full payment is required when booking.

You can also pay by bank transfer or by debit/credit card*. If you wish to choose either of these options, please indicate this on your booking form.

*Please note that there is a surcharge of 2.5% on payments made by debit/credit card.

This will secure your place on the experience. Until the deposit is received we cannot guarantee that a place will be reserved for you.

It is a condition of joining one of our experiences that you are fully insured against medical and personal accident risks. Nature Travels offers comprehensive travel insurance through TAG Insurance Services which is ideal for the activities we offer. If you choose to arrange your own insurance, we require you to provide details of this insurance when you complete the booking form.

5. Wait For Final Confirmation!

Some of our experiences, because of their nature, take place only on specific dates and require a minimum group size. If the minimum group size is not met and we are forced to cancel your experience, we will of course make every effort to offer you an alternative or refund the cost of your deposit in full. Please see our BOOKING CONDITIONS for full details. We would stress, however, that until you have received written confirmation from us that the tour will be taking place we advise you NOT to incur non-refundable expenses such as the purchasing of specialist clothing or flight tickets.

6. Receiving Details For Your Trip

When we receive your booking form and deposit, we will forward contact details of your provider in Sweden along with other necessary information. In some cases, final information on your experience may not be available at the time of booking, in which case this will be sent to you as soon as possible.

7. Final Payment Due Date

The final balance of payment for your holiday will be required 60 days before your experience begins, (if you book less than 60 days in advance, full payment will be required with booking). When you have finalised your transport arrangements to the location of your experience within Sweden, please contact us with details so that we can pass on the relevant information to your experience provider. Please note that Nature Travels Ltd cannot be held liable for any costs incurred due to delays or other problems with transportation to, from or within Sweden.

8. Check Documentation

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport and visa (UK citizens do not require a visa for Sweden but please ensure your circumstances do not require special arrangements) as well as suitable insurance for your trip. We require you to provide details of insurance cover when you complete the booking form. Nature Travels offers comprehensive travel insurance through TAG Insurance Services which is ideal for the activities we offer.

9. Know Before You Go

Sweden is a member of the EU. UK citizens do not require a visa to visit Sweden, though you should have a valid passport. For general travel advice for Sweden visit "Know Before You Go" and "Travel Advice By Country" at www.fco.gov.uk/travel. If you would like accommodation or parking near to your departure airport, you may like to visit the Holiday Extras website for assistance with pre-departure requirements. Visa enquiries may be addressed to Travcour (UK) on 020 7223 5295. For specific advice regarding vaccinations or other health concerns, please contact your GP.

10. Quality Control
