Lapland is the name of the cultural region traditionally inhabited by the Sámi people. Lapland includes the northern parts of Scandinavia and the Kola peninsula in Russia. A majority of the current population of this region has at least some Sámi ancestry. Under Swedish law reindeer herding may only be carried out by Sámi.

A winter adventure led by a local Sámi guide in the far north of Lapland. This is the land of the Sámi people, the indigenous people of this area. On this trip you will get to know the Sámi culture and the reindeer that are its centre, learn to drive your own reindeer sled and go dog sledding through the magnificent wilderness of this region, sleeping in a Sámi wilderness cabin and reindeer camp along the way.
