Ski Touring and Winter Mountaincraft in Jämtland
Ski touring is an ideal way to experience the winter landscape, allowing you to cover significant distances while still offering the possibility to explore off the beaten track.
Ski touring in Jämtland is a 4-day experience combining ski touring with training in winter mountain skills and is an excellent exercise in teamwork.
The tour is ideal for groups seeking a challenging and rewarding winter expedition. Accommodation is wild winter camping in high-quality Hilleberg tents. Alternatively, it is possible to do the experience as a cabin tour, staying in mountain cabins along the route.
The level of challenge can be adapted to suit the requirements of your group. Please note, however, that this experience is not suitable for complete beginners. Some previous knowledge of cross country skiing/ski touring is required to participate successfully in the tour.

A certificate of completion is presented at the end of the course.
It is also possible to add a one-day training course in Winter Mountain Skills before the tour begins, including avalanche techniques and storm simulation.
