Sail on a Schooner: Navigating the Baltic
Since human beings first took to the water, crewing a sailing ship has been an excellent exercise in teamwork. Each member of the crew works closely together to achieve something magical, something which could not be achieved by individuals working independently.
This original wooden schooner, built in 1915 and restored in 1985, is available to hire for private sailings for groups of 20+. Smaller groups are welcome to book on scheduled sailings. Please contact us for more information and to discuss your requirements.
During this experience, you will be participating actively in all the duties necessary to sail a ship of this size, from managing the rigging to assisting at mealtimes. It is very much a team effort, and by the end of your voyage you will have formed close bonds with your shipmates.
There is work to do, but also plenty of time to relax and enjoy the stunning coastal environment, from the forested islands of the archipelago to the cries of Sea Eagles and Ospreys in the skies above.
