"Going over the mountain pass, awesome, traversing across some tricky paths, amazing views around every corner, super charged and loving dog teams, fantastic weather and an amazing Northern Lights show to top off the trip on the last night, even a visit to the Ice Hotel. This adventure has been the best birthday present ever, we had some whiteout conditions, some amazing sunshine and trails to die for. It was a challenge enough but not too much. "It does not take many words to say that was the most fantastic experience I ever had in a holiday. Will definitely be doing that again.next time though I'll make sure I bring more than three pairs of thermal socks.I'm sure no body noticed anyway lol. Even getting that 17 hour train and being delayed by an extra two hours because of a tree on the line ( at least it was not a moose !) did not dampen my spirits. I was still the first one there! All the Huskies were awesome and yes I wanted to take a couple home, especially Elvis! I plan to do this again next year without a doubt! "Beautiful scenery with lovely dogs. The best part was when we went up to the Mountain and stayed in Sälka. The scenery was truly amazing. It was truly amazing trip. We had a great time with other travelers. We were very lucky to have them in our group. It could be quite physically challenging but it is totally different experience that we would never get from any other trip. Our tour guide, Olav, was very responsible guy and a great cook. I was very nervous before departure about discomfort such as no shower and no flushing toilets but I got used it immediately and enjoyed sauna so much after all. Thank you very much.
