Comments on Family Bushcraft Adventure:

"For me there were a number of highlights, the first two days where we were really out in the wilderness were the best. This felt like real camping. Despite the weather, I felt like I was testing my limits whilst at the same time really getting to know the Swedish countryside. The guide, Jan Eric, was superb, spoke good English and spent a lot of time with the kids teaching them to fish and explaining about what was going on. He was interested in what we wanted to do and flexible. Jan Eric was very willing to change his plans to take account of our own preferences and ideas in order to make our trip memorable. The added benefit for me was that he was local and Swedish, which meant he was able to provide us with a perspective on living in Sweden.

Geerd, the host, was also extremely good and knowledgeable. He was very keen to make our trip as good as possible and joined us on our last night for a real campfire feast, which he prepared and which was fantastic.

This was a fantastic holiday which has provided our family with a wonderful experience. This was a great opportunity to really appreciate the challenges and opportunities that camping provides. I cannot stress enough how good Jan Eric was, his calm and friendly approach combined with his ability to connect with the children was a key to the success of the whole experience.

"On the whole, the experience has been one that has helped us to appreciate the natural beauty of Sweden, given us a real opportunity to test our own abilities and left us at the end of the expedition sorry to be leaving and already thinking about planning our next trip." "We loved it." Richard, August 2008
