Prices for the Dalsland Canoe Marathon 2010
Nature Travels offers everything you need to take part in the Dalsland Canoe Marathon 2010, including registration, equipment hire and transport and a choice of accommodation in the local area.
Registration and Participation:
- All adult classes: £47*
- All junior classes: £10*
*The registration and participation fee includes insurance for the competition itself. Please note that it is a condition of booking with us that you are fully insured against medical and personal accident risks for other aspects of your booking. Kayak and Canoe Hire for Dalsland Canoe Marathon:
- Kayak hire (K1, single person): £45/kayak for the competition day. Buoyancy aid, paddle and spray skirt are included.
- Canoe hire (C2, two persons): £19/canoe/day, minimum 2 days including competition day. Buoyancy aids and paddles are included.
- Transport of kayaks or canoes to/from race start/end point: £14/kayak or canoe.
After the Event:
- Crayish party at the end of the competition (open to competitors and spectators): £31/person
Accommodation Options - Canoe Camp:
The Canoe Camp is located about 25km from Bengtsfors, the finishing point for the competition.
- Large static tent: £7/person/night (up to 15 persons/tent)
- Bring your own tent: £5/person/night
- Apartment: £93/night (up to 10 persons)

Hotel and Hostel accommodation are located in Bengtsfors, the finishing point for the competition.
- Hotel**: Single room £42/room/night; 2-person room £49/room/night. Extra bed(s) in double room £14/bed/night. Includes bedding, breakfast, end cleaning and daily cleaning.
- Hostel**: Single room £24/night; 2-person room £33/night; 3-person room £38/night; 4-person room £42/night; Breakfast £5. Bedding can be hired for £5/person/stay (or bring sleeping sheet and pillow cover). End cleaning is included. Daily cleaning is not included.
Equipment Hire Before/After The Race:
Why not spend a few days in Dalsland before the race honing your skills or take time to explore this beautiful area on a paddle tour afterwards? If you would prefer activities off the water, the area is also ideal for mountain biking, or try a unique trip on an "inspection trolley" along a disused railway line!
