Winter Other Holidays in Sweden & Finland

Other winter experiences

Winter is a magical time in Sweden & Finland. Snow lies in a thick blanket across much of the country, the days are shorter but the nights are long and cosy, filled with candlelight and laughter, and in the far north the night-time skies are alive with the dancing Northern Lights. The Nordic countries are marvellous destinations for outdoor activities in wintertime. Listed here are some unusual winter experiences, from ice skating on frozen lakes and archipelago sea in Sweden to discovering the Taiga forest in Finland on a snowshoe adventure!
