All the experiences listed here are ideal for families, and many are also suitable for parents travelling solo with children. Child rates are available on many of our experiences. Some of the experiences listed here may be most suitable for families with older children.

Guided Experiences

Nature Travels offers a wide range of guided holidays in Sweden suitable for solo travellers, couples and small groups. Whatever your age or level of ability, there are a number of reasons to choose a guided experience. The knowledge and expertise of your guides will enhance your enjoyment enormously and allow you to appreciate the natural and cultural heritage of an area in much greater depth. In some cases, the services of a guide are essential for safety reasons or to allow access to certain areas.

Self-Guided Experiences

Nature Travels offers a very wide range of self-guided holidays in Sweden, especially in the summertime, giving you the freedom to experience your adventure in your own way. A minimum of two persons is always required for safety reasons for self-guided tours and these experiences are therefore not suitable for solo travellers.

Soft Adventure

Outdoor experiences do not have to be synonymous with hard work or "roughing it". We offer a wide range of outdoor and adventure holidays in Sweden which require no previous experience and are accessible to a wide range of participants (though please note that for all our tours, you should be in general good health and enjoy the outdoors). Some of the experiences listed here combine the thrill of activities such as kayaking or dog sledding with comfortable accommodation, while others are tours feature wild camping but with a relatively easy level of challenge.

Adventure Travel

Our options for adventure travel in Sweden listed here offer a moderate level of challenge and are adventurous yet accessible, from self-guided canoe and kayak tours to dog sledding. Please bear in mind of course that terms such as "moderately challenging" are these tours are categorised for their relative level of challenge compared to other experiences offered by Nature Travels.
