Stockholm is a city like no other: a city built on 14 islands, where you are never far from the water. Well-preserved medieval buildings stand side by side with more modern architecture, and just outside the city an archipelago of 24,000 islands waits to be explored. The Stockholm archipelago is a unique environment to visit all year round. Most islands can be reached by regular ferry services from central Stockholm.
The city itself charms the visitor with a unique fusion of old and new, traditional and contemporary, urban and pastoral, sophisticated and earthy, all within convenient walking distance of the centre.

When travelling to or from one of our experiences, you may wish to consider adding extra nights in the beautiful city of Stockholm, the "Venice of the North", to your trip. Nature Travels is pleased to offer you affordable hostel accommodation at a high standard in the green centre of Stockholm, just 8 minutes by underground from Stockholm Central bus and train station. The hostel is located on one many islands on which the city stands, the island of Södermalm, known to most people as simply "Söder".
Double Room
A kitchen is available for self-catering. The hostel has internet access, laundry facilities, sauna and sun-beds. There is also a restaurant, bar and café located within the building.
You can choose either to reserve a room with shower and WC in the corridor, or a room with shower, WC and TV in the room. Alternatively, you may choose to reserve a bed in a 4-bed room, shared with other like-minded travellers.
Four-person Room
Stockholm is an ideal city for exploring on two wheels, with a scenic network of cycle routes, and bicycles are available for hire from the hostel.
