Looking for a challenge? Wilderness Dogsled Adventure in Vindelfjällen takes you deep into the wilderness of the Vindel Mountains, Europe's largest protected area, in command of your own team of competition-trained huskies.
Led by a four-time Swedish champion and one-time European champion musher, you will spend six days sledding through the stark beauty of western Lapland, overnighting in a combination of wilderness cabins and winter camping along the route.
The tour takes place in the "spring winter" in late March and April, a stunning time for winter activities in the mountains, and is ideal for those with some previous dogsled experience now seeking a "next step" dogsled tour, but also suitable for novice mushers with previous outdoor experience and good level of fitness ready to test themselves!
And if the Wilderness Dogsled Adventure sounds just a little too adventurous, we also offer a wide range of other options for dogsled tours for adults and families from 1-8 days at varying levels of challenge.
